For this project, 8th-grade students have chosen between completing either a monochromatic or proposal-based self-portrait. During this unit, students explore self-portraiture and how often it is used to capture someone's experience, moment, or occasion in their life. Therefore students are creating these portraits to capture their middle-school selves before they transition to high school. Below, are the in-progress photos of this project as it has yet to be completed.
